Once approved, you'll receive a secure link to upload required documents for verification.
Interview & Approval
Our team will schedule a short interview. Once approved, you are officially a Bhijams Cook.
Access Your Portal
Get your unique login credentials to access the Cook Portal — your dashboard for everything.

Required Documents
Please have the following documents ready. They will be requested after your application is approved.
Food Handler Certification
A valid Food Handler Certificate is required for all cooks. This ensures food safety standards are met in every session.
Get your certificate at WorkSiteSafety.caGovernment-Issued Photo ID
Passport, driver's license, or PR card for identity verification.
Work Authorization
Work permit, study permit, PR card, or proof of Canadian citizenship.
Background Check Consent
All cooks undergo a background check for client safety and trust.
Proof of Address
Driver's license, photo card, utility bill, or bank statement.

Going into someone's home can feel intimidating. Here's how Bhijams keeps you safe at every step.
Verified Customers Only
Every customer is verified with their full name, phone number, and address before any booking is confirmed. You'll always know who you're visiting.
Trusted Contact Alerts
Add a family member or friend as your trusted contact. They'll receive an automatic SMS when you start and finish each session, with the location and expected time.
Check-In & Check-Out
Confirm your arrival and departure through the Cook Portal. If we don't hear from you within 30 minutes of a session start, our team is automatically alerted.
Right to Leave, No Questions Asked
If you ever feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or find conditions different from what was described, you can leave immediately. No penalties, no lost pay. Safety comes first.
Customer Trust Badges
Before you accept a booking, you can see whether the customer is new, returning, trusted, or flagged based on their history on the platform.
Incident Reporting
Report any harassment, unsafe conditions, or uncomfortable situations directly to Bhijams. We review every report, follow up with you, and take action against the customer.
